For the past two years, the event has taken place on the beautiful island of Hvar, Croatia. Following this success, we are excited to announce the 3rd Hvar Bodypainting Festival, which will take place on 31st May and 1st June 2025! The first day will feature an exciting contest where artists will compete in two categories, inspired by the theme of "Tropical Chic." On the second day, artists can showcase their creativity in a relaxed jam session. With Hvar as the backdrop, this promises to be an unforgettable celebration of art and community. Since 2021, this award has celebrated the skill of creating optical illusions that challenge the eye. Many artists have dreamed of competing in this category, so the competition now takes place over two days, giving more participants the chance to show their talent.
The competition is held in Vipiteno/Sterzing, a beautiful town in the Italian Alps. Known for its colorful streets, medieval buildings, and mountain views, it feels like a place from a postcard.
