


The Hvar Bodypainting Festival 2025, held on May 31st and June 1st, transformed the Croatian island into a vibrant canvas of creativity and color. Set against the stunning backdrop of Hvar's natural beauty, the festival attracted 17 international artists and photographers from countries including France, South Korea, the USA, Norway, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Serbia, Israel, and Mexico.
A Celebration of Art and Culture
Organized by the World Bodypainting Association and supported by the Hvar Tourist Board, the festival featured two main events: a competitive bodypainting contest and a relaxed jam session. The contest showcased artists' interpretations of the theme "Tropical Chic", blending vibrant island aesthetics with sophisticated elegance.

The contest was divided into two categories:
Category: Classic Bodypainting
1st Place: Francesca Pellegrino (Italy)
2nd Place: Linda Rohmen (Norway)
3rd Place: Florine Colledara (France)
Category: Bodypainting Open Techniques
1st Place: Houyam Hajlaoui (Belgium)
2nd Place: Yuri Falzetti (Italy)
3rd Place: Moona Jin (South Korea)
Beyond the Competition
The second day featured a jam session on a private island, allowing artists to create freely in nature's embrace. This relaxed environment fostered spontaneous creativity and collaboration among participants.
